As a veteran who spent 23 years navigating the VA system – from my first claim in 1998 to achieving 100% P&T in 2023 – I’ve seen this agency from every angle. I’ve experienced the frustration, the denials, the complexity. But I’ve also witnessed the dedication of VA employees who genuinely care about getting veterans the benefits they’ve earned.
Here’s what I’ve learned: When veterans and VA staff work together with mutual understanding, magic happens. Claims get approved. Lives get changed. Families get the support they deserve.
